GARRWEILER
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) :Calw
Incorporated into : 1975 Altensteig
Official blazon
In Gold ein aus dem heraldisch linken Schildrand wachsender Arm mit rotem Handschuh, auf dem ein blauer Falke sitzt.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 8, 1957.
The arms are based on the fact that the Lords of Gültlingen, who ruled the village (see Berneck) hunted with their falcons in Garrweiler in the 18th century. The falcons were kept and bred in the village. The coloours are those of the Lords of Neuneck, who had an estate in the village.
