Official blazon
Escudo de prata, açor estendido de azul, bicado, lampassado, sancado e armado de vermelho, bordadura de vermelho, carregada de nove estrelas de cinco raios de ouro; elmo de frente, de ouro, forrado de vermelho; no timbre um açor saínte de azul, bicado e lampassado de vermelho, carregado de nove estrelas de cinco raios de ouro; paquife de azul e prata; suportado por dois touros de negro, coleirados e acorrentados de ouro, sustendo o da direita, um balsão da Ordem de Cristo, com lança de azul, ponta e copos de ouro, e sustendo o da esquerda, um balsão vermelho com pomba estendida de prata, com lança de azul, ponta e copos de ouro. Listel de ouro com a divisa : " Antes morrer livres que em paz sujeitos ", de negro.
