REIFENBERG
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Südwestpfalz
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Thaleischweiler-Fröschen
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 4, 1964.
The village was a possession of the Counts of Homburg until 1447. Their arms, a silver lion in red, are shown in the right half. The golden lion and the diamonds are taken from the arms of the Dukes of the Pfalz-Zweibrücken, who succeeded the Counts of Homburg in 1447. The diamonds, the arms of Bayern, are taken from the family arms of the Dukes (Wittelsbach).
