ARNEBURG
State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Stendal
Verbandsgemeinde : Arneburg-Goldbeck
Additions : 2009 Beelitz
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms are canting, an eagle (Adler/Arend) over a city (Burg). The combination already appears on seals from 1315. The eagle is often regarded as the eagle of Brandenburg, but during the last century the eagle was shown as the black Prussian eagle.
Seal from around 1900 |
The arms by Hupp in the Kaffee Hag albums +/- 1925 |
