In Silber ein blau bewehrter, blau gezungter roter Löwe.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 17, 1952.

The village historically was known for its linen manufacturing and washing. The small house shows a linen bleaching and processing house. The hill in front shows the small hill on which the linen was spread to be bleached.
