NORRALA

Province (Landskap): Hälsingland
County (Län): Gävleborgs län
Additions : 1952 Trönö
Incorporated into : 1971 Söderhamn

Norrala kommunvapen

Official blason

I fält av silver en stolpvis genomgående röd runa (bälgthorn) bestående av huvudstav och ringformig bistav.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 29, 1966.

The symbol is taken from the seal of the Trönö parish. The symbol most likely is based on the old letter þ (th) for Thor, as the old name of the parish was Tor.
