STRALLEGG
State : Steiermark
District : Weiz
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 11, 1989.
Strallegg was a possession of the monastery of the Canons Regular at Pöllau. The mistletoe was taken from the monastery's arms and is now the main charge in this new coat of arms. In times past, the broad arrow was termed a "Strahl". The Strahl was put into the Eck (canton) of the arms, thus producing canting arms.
