Escudo de prata, uma cruz egípcia de azul entre dois cachos de cerejas de vermelho folhados de verde. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro em maiúsculas : “ RIBAFRIA - ALENQUER “.
Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on January 28, 1995.
The arms show an Egyptian cross, symbol for the local patron saint, Our Lady of Egypt. The cherries refer to the many orchards in the municipality.
