Escudo de ouro, monte de verde nascente de um ondado de prata e azul de três tiras e encimado por gavela de trigo de verde, atada de púrpura; em chefe, duas abelhas de negro, realçadas de prata. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro: “ CALDE “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 19, 2002.

The bees and the wheat refer to the apiculture and agriculture in the municipality. The base shows the Vouga river and the Arada mountain range.
