Origin/meaning

The arms are valid from January 1, 2017, but were already adopted in 2015.

The arms are a combination of elements from the former arms, the boar from Villarepos (and the oldest arms of Courtepin), the cross from Barberêche and Courtepin and the bend from Wallenried.

The previous arms were the new arms and are a combination of the old arms (cross, see below) and the arms of Courtaman.

I have no information on the meaning of the oldest arms. Any information is welcome !
