District/county (județ) : Dâmbovița

Stema Nucet (Dâmbovița)

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 17, 2014.

The bell symbolizes the Nucet Monastery, founded by the parish priest Gherghina and his wife, Neaga, at the end of the 15th century.

The wavy bar represents the hydrography of the locality, and the fish evokes the research activity for the genetic improvement of the cultured fish.

The walnut branch refers to the name of the locality, and the number of walnuts indicates the component villages that make up the commune.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
