Origin/meaning
The arms are not officially granted.
The arms show a tree growing from a mine dump symbolizing the beginning of the town "Benoni" and thus the subsequent growth in education. The branches of the tree symbolize the unity of purpose... three branches are used to remember the three schools that provided Arbor Primary School with learners when it first started, namely "Benoni West", "Rynfield" and "Tom Newby Primary".
"Aequitas", the motto, means "Fairness to all".
