Ein aufgerichteter, nach links schauender, goldener, blaugekrönter Löwe auf rotem Grund. Origin/meaningThe oldest seal of the town dates from around 1400 and already shows the lion of the Lords of Homburg. The town belonged to the Lords of Homburg from 1226-1409. All later seals have shown the same lion.
