Origin/meaning
The above arms were proposed in 1956. I have no information whether the arms have actually been granted.
The tree is a canting element (Holz=wood), and is taken from the only known seal of the village, dating from 1816. The colours were chosen arbitrarily and the filed was divided to distinguish the arms from similar arms showing only a tree.
