Official blazon

A hurt charged with a bat affronty volant bendwise proper surmounting a radar reflector Argent, all within an annulus Bleu Celeste fimbriated and inscribed 1 WING 1 ESCADRE in letters Or, ensigned by the Royal Crown proper and environed by a wreath of maple leaves, overall in base a scroll Or inscribed with the Motto in letters Sable; PACEM ARMATUS AMO.

Origin/meaning

The bat is known for its ability as an agile hunter that flies during the night or day. The radar reflector is indicative of the technological elements in aerial warfare. The Motto translates as “I love peace; nevertheless, I am armed". The badge was approved on August 15, 2019.
