Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 14, 1967.
The point is a canting element, Winkel means corner. The fox head is a symbol for the very quiet village, surrounded by wood (green colour). This is based on the former phrase describing a desolated village : Dort, wo die Fuchse einander gute Nacht sagen (there, where the foxes wish each other good night).
