RESKO
Province: Pomorze Zachodnie
County: Łobez
Origin/meaning
The oldest seal of the town dates from the 13th century and already shows a tree in a wavy base. In the tree there are some bird picking from undefined fruits.
Two 15th century seals show two different images; the oldest one shows only the griffin of Pommern, the latter the tree and waves, but now without the bird. On some later images the base is shown as a grassy mould, but the arms used at the end of the 19th century again showed the waves. After the town had become Polish, the arms were continued.
