Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 9, 1960.
The wolf in the upper half is taken from the seal of the historical Katzweiler court and Wolfstein Amt to which the village historically belonged. The bar is a canting element (Bach=brook, stream). The base shows a blackberry branch, for The Brambach area in the village (Bram=Brombeer=blackberry).
