Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 9, 1967.

The upper part of the arms is derived from the arms of the Gundrich family, who had their residence in Ginnerting, now a part of Frasdorf. The lower part of the arms show the symbol of St. Margaret, the parish saint of Frasdorf since the 12th century.
