GAIÀ
Region : Catalonia
Province : Barcelona
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on May 29, 1997.
The crescent and the fleur-de-lis are one of the attributes of the Virgin Mary, the local patron saint, and the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon (four red pales on gold) remind the jurisdiction of the count of Barcelona over the village.
