Origin/meaning

D'azur au manteau de saint Martin de gueules, au glaive romain dans son fourreau versé d'or, accompagné en chef d'une grappe de raisin d'argent, tigée et feuillée de sinople à dextre et de trois épis d'or, posés en pal, rangés en fasce et brochant l'un sur l'autre à senestre, l'ensemble brochant sur le manteau et surmonté d'une truite contournée d'argent. |- |English | No blazon/translation known. Origin/meaning

The arms show a sword cutting through a cloak, the symbol of the local patron saint, St. Martin. The grapes refer to the (former) vineyards, the wheat to the agricultural character of the village. The trout refers to the Tholon river.
