Badge: Barry wavy Argent and Azure a dexter arm embowed erased proper vested of a short sleeve Gules doubled Argent, the hand grasping an arrow in bend sinister point downward proper.

Origin/meaning
The arm holding the arrow is the crest of Sir Guy Carleton, Governor of Quebec 1768-1778. H.M.C.S. Carleton was named after the British schooner H.M.S. Carleton (1776), named in honour of Sir Guy Carleton, who is credited with having saved the colony for the British by defeating Montgomery and Arnold at Quebec on December 31st, 1775. The wavy bands symbolize the sea. The Motto translates as “We shall conquer by the arms”.
