German | In Rot über einem goldenen Schragen eine silberne bewurzelte Eiche. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1958.
The silver oak tree is a symbol for the lower jurisdiction of the free imperial city of Nördlingen, which exercised sovereign rights in Pflaumloch in the Middle Ages.
The golden saltire is taken from the arms of the Princes of Oettingen-Wallerstein, former lords of the area.
