LINDERTE
State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Region Hannover (until 2001 Hannover)
Incorporated into : 1969 Ronnenberg
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
IThe arms were officially granted on May 12, 1959.
The linden tree is a canting element for the name of the village. The two small shields show the star of the Counts of Schwalenberg, to which the village belonged in medieval times, and a fox. The fox is a symbol for the local sheriff, Reinecke, who granted many rights to the village.
