Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 31, 1957.

The bend is taken from the arms of the Lords von Eickel in different colours. Theey had possessions in the area since the 16th century. The three diamonds also refer to the three villages in the municipality. The crosier refers to the Rumbeck Abbey, to which the area belonged.
