Stema Dăeni

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 25, 2015.

The horse refers to a legend where a Roman officer drowned in the Danube river. The place where he drowned was named after him and is the current village of Dăeni. The chief refers to a large hoard of coins from the 2nd and 3rd century AD which was found in the area.
