German In Blau je drei paarweise durch schwarze Kreuzchen abgesetzte, zum Kranz gestellte silberne Ähren und Eichenblätter.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 21, 1961.

The arms show oak leaves and wheatears as symbols for the forestry and agriculture in the municipality. The small crosses are taken from the arms of the State of Köln.

The colours are those of the County Arnsberg, to which the city historically belonged.
