In Grün unter einem schwebenden, siebenfach gewellten Wellenbalken vorn gekreuzte goldene Hammer und Schlägel pfahlweise belegt mit einem goldenen Meißel und hinten goldene, in den Vierpass gestellte Schneidblätter.

The arms were officially granted on ??

The arms are based on the design of the arms of Trusetal, without the letter T and the miner's tools of the arms of Trusetal were replaced by the tools with the chisel from the arms of Brotterode. The number of waves was increased from 6 to seven, for the 7 settlements in the municipality.
