District : Liezen

Michaelerberg.jpg

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on September 11, 1989.

The arms are partly canting. The Dreiberg in base represents the "-berg" part, the balance in chief is a well-known attribute of the Archangel St. Michael. The ibex is taken from the arms of the Herren von Moosham, a family of local landowners.
