Origin/meaning:
The arms were granted in 1947 and were designd for the 1200 anniversary of the village. The mountain in the base symbolises the Heiligenberg mountain, which was a main stronghold in the 12th century. The chevrons are taken from the arms of the Lord of Heiligenberg, taken from a seal in 1396.
