Origin/meaning
Fehring was granted arms by King Ferdinand I. The letters patent are dated July 8, 1550 at Augsburg. The new arms on June 30, 2020.
The arms show a kind of pine tree, a canting element in the local dialect Föhre (pine-tree). After the mergers in 2015 the arms were continued, but in more heraldic colours, where the blue now officially represents water and the gold the fertile soil.
