German | Über einem siebenmal von Silber und Blau gespaltenen Schildfuß gespalten; vorne in Gold ein von Silber und Schwarz gevierter, rot bezungter Brackenkopf, hinten in Silber ein halber, rot bewehrter schwarzer Adler am Spalt.
Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on June 14, 1974. The arms show in the upper left half the crest (dog) of the Margraves of Nürnberg form the Hohenzollern dynasty. The quartered arms of the Margraves was part of the old Neustadt an der Aisch district arms. The eagle is taken from the arms of Uffenheim, the pales from the arms of Scheinfeld.
