Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on June 20, 1994. The arms show element from the former seal of the village. The farmer's shoe symbolises the farmer's revolt in Thüringen in 1524/25 which was at its strongest in the area near Mühlhausen and Görmar. The sun is used as a general symbol for hope and new beginnings. As the village was incorporated on June 30, the arms have been valid only for 10 days....
