Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 19, 1985.
The wavy bar symbolises the Kohlbach river in the municipality. The village historically depended on coal mining, symbolised by the tools, but since the early 20th century the main activity is cherry cultivation.
The upper half shows a building (Hof), which is a canting element and refers to the large estate farm that existed in the village.
