Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in 1997.
The wheat sheaf (garb) refers to the agricultural characte rof the village, and was part of the former village seal. The five oak leaves refer to the visit of King Friedrich II of Prussia, on which occasion five oak trees were supposedly planted.
