The rapeseed flower refers to the agricultural character of the municipality and the four leaves refer to the four villages in the municipality: Pantelitz, Pütte, Viersdorf and Zimkendorf.
The falcon and the wavy division line refer to the protected Borgwallsee lake and the Pütter lake in the municipality. Literature:
