Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 4, 1965.
The point shows a fountain (Brunnen), which is a canting element. The upper parts refer to the two monasteries that played a major role in the local history; the waterlily leaf from the Tegernsee monastery and the wavy bar for the Weyarn monastery.
