The arms were officially granted on ?

The double-eagle is taken from the arms of the large Saint Maximian Abbey in Trier, to which the area historically belonged. The flax flowers in the base symbolise the agricultural character of the village. The bar refers to the large Seinsfeld Castle in the village.
