MYSZKÓW
Province: Śląsk
County: Myszków
Origin/meaning
The city was founded in 1950. The arms show four chimneys as a symbol of the local industry, and two wheartears for agriculture. The escutcheon shows the Polish eagle. In the base of the shield is a wavy bar, symbolising the Warta river. The arms were devised and adopted in 1969, but have changed colours regularly.
