History: formed in July 1940.
Official blazon
A rose surmounted by a crown within within two branches of laurel; below the laurel a scroll inscribed "Intelligence Corps". Officers in silver plate, Other Ranks gilding metal or anodized aluminium.
Origin/meaning
The Rose is the emblem of secrecy , and is therefore most appropriate as Badge for the Corps.
