In rood, een goud genagelde, getongde en gekroonde zilveren leeuw op den schouder beladen met een gouden hartschild, het hoofd geschakeerd van zilver en zwart in 2 ryen. Het schild gedekt met eene baronnenmuts en overdekt met eenen uitkomenden Sint Bavo van zilver dragende het pelgrimskleed en de pelgrimsmuts en houdende in elke hand eene banier met het wapen van het schild.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 24, 1921.

The arms of Noorderwijk show a silver lion on a field of red (the arms of the t'Serclaes family) surmounted by a coronet and the figure of Saint Bavo, patron saint of the parish.
