Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 4, 1995.
The arms show the local patron saint, ST. Rupert, a medieval Bishop of Salzburg. The other half shows the arms of the Von Schidenhofen family, held the Stumm Estate for nearly 200 years.
