English Gold; a lion rampant blue armed and langued red.

Motto: Fortiter in re.

Origin/meaning

From the Arms of Henery Percy, Duke of Northumberland called Hotspur. He was killed at the Battle of Shrewsbury in 1403. The Motto translates "Bravely in action". The badge was approved in 1935.
