Swedish Sköld, två gånger delad av blått, bestrött med sexuddiga gyllene stjärnor, och av guld, vari en gående svart björn med röd tunga och röda klor, samt av rött, bildande en mur med fogar av guld.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 28, 1958.

The arms are based on the old parish seal, dating from around 1800. The seal showed a bear on a stone bridge and walking under a star. This composition was transformed into the present arms.
