Official blazon
Quarterly, Azure and Gules: 1st, an open Bible Proper; 2nd, two swords in saltire Argent, hilts uppermost Or; srd, two shuttles in saltire Or, garnished with thread Argent; 4th, a miner's lamp Argent, inflamed Proper; over all a cross fillet nowy lozengy Argent.
Above the Shield is placed a coronet appropriate to a Burgh of Barony (videlicet: Gules masoned Argent) and in an Escrol below the same this Motto "Spe Expecto".
