Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 25, 1969.
The chief shows the Prüm river that runs through the green fields in the municipality.
The pliers and crown are the symbol of St. Agatha, the patron saint of the village. The wheatears are a symbol for the agricultural character of the municipality.
