FLUORN-WINZELN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Rottweil
Additions : 1972 Fluorn, Winzeln

Wappen von Fluorn-Winzeln

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 20, 1976.

The new arms combine symbols of the two former municipalities. The black cross is derived from the former arms of Fluorn. Winzeln did not have its own arms until 1958, but used a seal with a symbol, which was probably an orb. In 1958 the village received arms with pine cones, to emphasise the forests in the area. Thus both the orb and two pine cones were added to the cross of Winzeln. The colours are the colours of the former Rottweil State.
