Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on June 25, 1958.
The wavy bend symbolises the Rhein river and thus is a canting element. The black square, symbolises a field, or Kamp, thus also a canting element. The 19 triangles symbolise the 19 villages and settlements in the municipality. The colours were derived from the arms of the Moers District.
