Escudo de verde, vieira de ouro acompanhada de quatro corujas de prata, armadas de ouro, realçadas e bicadas de negro e animadas de vermelho, acantonadas. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: «CORUJAS».
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 1, 2006.
The arms show 4 canting owls (corujas) and a scallop for the local patron saint, St. James.
