Official blazon

The Royal Crest within the Garter; attached to the lower portion of the Garter the Roman numerals "XV" and "XIX"; the lower ends of the numerals rest upon a scroll inscribed with the motto "Merebimur" (We shall be worthy). Royal Crest in silver plate. The Garter and numerals in gilt or gilding metal; motto in silver plate on a blue emamel ground. Other ranks as above but with Royal Crest in white metal, reminder in gilding metal.
